 Platform
Assetto Corsa on PS4

 Dates/Times
Wednesdays at 7:30pm GMT (show me in my timezone)

 Format/Procedure
Party chat and in game lobby invitations to be sent at around 7:30pm
If there are more than 8 participants, another party shall be created. Communication between the two parties will be done through the 'Zero Cup on AC' Playstation group chat
First race preceeded by a qualifying session. Uninvited drivers will be kicked out
Then each qualifying session will be skipped

 Participation requirements
It is required to have read and accepted the Rule Book, as well as contacted me in advance in order to receive an invitation
As events and parties can only hold 8 players, events are only set as reminders

 Audio chat
To filter out any impulsive foul language, you will be asked to be on Mute until you have something to say. Racing related conversation is preferred, although some banter will be allowed.

 Tuning
Any tuning is prohibited, except for the settings adjustable directly from your steering wheel or controller: brake balance, traction control and turbo boost. The default tyres only are allowed.
In some GT3 cars, you may need to add fuel to avoid the risk of running out, but you're not allowed to remove fuel.

 Driving Aids
These are to the discretion of the driver.

 Penalties
The game distributes penalties as it sees fit. If you receive a penalty, your responsibility is to not interfere with other people's race. Move off the racing line as soon as it is safe to do so. Behave as if you were being shown a blue flag. You have until the end of the lap to serve your penalty.
Tip: it is possible to fast track a penalty by slowing down to a stop. Again, you may do so as long as you don't interfere with the race.

Starting Grid (currently not in use)
The starting grid is a reverse grid based on the results of the previous race (except for race 1, which is preceded by a practice/qualifying session). We will proceed as follows:

1) Once a race is finished, remember your finishing position and work out your next starting position
2) Stay in the pits. No timed laps will be allowed
3) We all leave the pits and position ourselves in the desired order while driving a formation lap
4) When the pole sitter crosses the start/finish line, he will carry on to allow all the other drivers to cross the line as well
5) Once we have all crossed the start/finish line, we will skip to the race

Notes:
Don't leave the track while driving the formation lap or your time will be cancelled and you will be sent to the back of the grid. We will NOT reset the formation procedure.
If a driver joins us between 2 races or has missed a race, he will be sent to the back of the grid.

 Gentleman's Yellow Flag
If the race leader believes the race would benefit from it, he is allowed to regroup the field by enforcing a yellow flag situation, and thus allowing for some closer racing. There are restrictions to the use of the Gentleman's Yellow Flag:
- it should only be used once per race
- it cannot be used in the first and last lap of the race
- only the driver in the lead can call a yellow flag
- yellow flags are NOT compulsory and no comments should be made if no yellow flag has been waved
- you can only call a yellow flag when you're in a comfortable position to do so. You definitely cannot use it to save you from a difficult situation, for example if 2 or more drivers are fighting closely for the lead
- other drivers cannot request a yellow flag (they may sometimes discreetly suggest one. For example, if the leader is closely followed, the driver in 2nd place could announce he would not oppose a yellow flag. The final decision remains the leader's choice)

Yellow Flag procedure:
- to signal a yellow flag, the leader of the race will significantly slow down, weaving from left to right as if warming cold tires and whenever possible, will announce it via audio chat
- the leader must keep his speed to about 80kph (or less if safe to do so) until all the other drivers catch up
- overtaking is prohibited while the yellow flag is being waved. If an overtake took place after the beginning of the yellow flag but before the involved driver(s) noticed it, common sense should prevail to determine who gets to be in front
- to save time, a lapped driver must not unlap himself, but does not need to drop to the back either
- when ALL the drivers have had a chance to rejoin the pack, the leader will pick a roadside feature and, as soon as possible, announce it as the restart line. If audio chat is not available, the restart line will be the start/finish line
- no driver is allowed to overtake until he crosses the defined restart line

 Rules of Conduct
You are expected to know and adhere to the GTPlanet Online Racing Rules and Guidelines before taking part in any Zero Cup race. Additionally, pay close attention to the following guiding principles:

1. Drive like if it was a real car. Imagine having to pay for the repairs.
2. Be patient.
3. If a pass is not clean, give the place back.
4. More than 2 wheels over the white lines is off-track. If you gain an unfair advantage by going off track, 'give the time back'.
5. Mistakes happen, but make appropriate concessions immediately.
6. When cars are side by side, forget about the racing line. Give each other room.
7. If you are following another driver, be prepared to brake harder and sooner than usual.
8. Extra care is required in the 1st lap. Remember < 2 >
9. Rejoining the track or serving a penalty must be done without interfering with the other drivers.
10. Foul language will not be tolerated
Do to others what you want them to do to you.

 Complaints and issues
If you have an issue with another player, solve the problem together with a private conversation.
Personal issues are not my problem unless I'm the problem.

 Video evidence
If you have any reason to complain about another driver, you will be required to show a proof of your accusation. Also if someone complains about your driving, having a record from your point of view could be helpful. Recording and sharing videos is optional but encouraged. Video highlights can be fun to watch.
Note that it is possible to set up your PS4 to record more than the default 15 minutes.
A few seconds before the race begins, start recording by double tapping the 'Share' button. At the end of the race, stop recording by double tapping the 'Share' button again.
